About the Junior School Certificate (JSC) Exam

JSC is a mass examination for eighth-grade students in Bangladesh. The equivalent certificate issued for the students of the madrasa is called the Junior Dhakil Certificate or JDC.

The Junior School Certificate is issued to those who pass this test. They are given admission in ninth grade. Based on the results of this exam, the junior scholarship will be awarded.

The test was held for the first time in Bangladesh in the year 2010. Junior School Certificate Examination is accepted in 7 subjects.

There will be questions on English, Bengali, general science, social science and mathematics as part of the composition and multiple choice.

Out of the total number of 650 in this exam, the number 175 is in multiple-choice. Students have to answer multiple-choice and compositional questions in the same field.
