HSC Result 2010 and equivalent examinations held under 10 education boards of the country were released simultaneously on today (15 July 2010).
Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid handed over the fruits to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at Ganobhaban at 10 am. The heads of all the boards of education were present at this time.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina held a video conference with the principals of Bangabandhu College and Sylhet Government Women’s College in Gopalganj and talked about the results.
Later at 12 noon, the Education Minister officially announced the results at a press conference at the Ministry of Education.
At the same time, the Education Minister said, “Students, teachers, parents, the government and all concerned including journalists have made such a good result this time.”
Mentioning that changes have been made in the method of selecting educational institutions where 100% of the candidates have passed the examination.
Nurul Islam Nahid said, this time the institutions have been selected on the basis of ninth class registration.
The education minister said the results were released in 57 days for the first time.
This year, 7 lakh 18 thousand 84 students took part in the examination under 10 boards across the country including 8 general education boards, madrasas and technical boards.
This number is one lakh 10 thousand 212 more than last time. 5 lakh 33 thousand 369 people have passed. Last time this number was 4 lakh 42 thousand 389 people.
HSC Result 2010: Pass 74.78%, GPA5- 28,671
According to the information given by the computer center, the average pass rate this time is 74.78 percent. Which is 1.5 percent more than the previous year. Last time the pass rate was 72.78 percent.
This time a total of 28,671 students got GPA-5. Last time 20 thousand 136 people got GPA-5.
Note that the HSC examination started on 1 April and ended on 18 May.
As always, the results have been provided to all the examination centers / educational institutions, on the website of Sheaboard and also through SMS on mobile phones.

This time the madrasa board is at the top in terms of pass rate. The pass rate in this board is 86.55. The lowest pass rate is in Dinajpur board. The pass rate of this board is 67.54 percent.
This time 28,671 students got GPA-5 in 10 education boards. Last time this number was 20 thousand 136 people. Compared to last time, this time GPA-5 has increased to 8,535.
Dhaka Board is at the top again with the highest GPA-5. The number of GPA-5 in this board is 11 thousand 20.
Rajshahi Board is in the second place with 5,602 GPA-5. The technical board has the lowest with only 202 GPA-5.
The number of educational institutions that have passed 100% has been reduced to 41 this time. This time the number is 714. No student has failed in these educational institutions. Last year the number of such institutions was 755.
The number of institutions that did not pass a single one has been reduced to 16. This time the number of such institutions is 25. Which was 41 last time.
The number of expulsions has also decreased a lot. This time a total of 608 students have been expelled from the country. Last time 664 people were expelled.

This time out of 1,94,925 candidates who took part in the Dhaka Board examination, 1,40,548 passed.
11 thousand 20 people got GPA-5 in this education board. Among the students who got GPA5, 6,212 are male students and 4,808 are female students.
There were 82,174 candidates in Rajshahi Board. 61,987 people passed. 5,602 students got GPA-5 in this education board.
Among the students who got GPA5, 3,082 are male students and 2,520 are female students.
Out of 53,934 candidates in Comilla Board, 39,444 passed.
1,168 students got GPA-5 in this education board. Among the students who got GPA-5, 700 were male students and 468 were female students.
Out of 78,801 candidates in Jessore Board, 53,370 passed.
2,236 students got GPA-5 in this education board. Among the students who got GPA-5, 1,298 are male and 938 are female.
Out of 42,976 candidates in Chittagong Board, 31,224 passed.
1,618 students got GPA-5 in this education board. Among the students who got GPA5, 869 are male students and 749 are female students.
Out of 35,141 candidates in Barisal Board, 26,125 passed.
1,457 students got GPA-5 in this education board. Among the students who got GPA5, 782 were male students and 675 were female students.
Out of 19,820 candidates in Sylhet Board, 15,087 passed.
597 students got GPA-5 in this education board. Among the students who got GPA-5, 352 are male students and 245 are female students.
In Dinajpur Board, out of 72,852 candidates, 49,202 passed.
1,814 students got GPA-5 in this education board. Among the students who got GPA-5, 1,069 are male students and 745 are female students.

Joy in colleges
As soon as the results were announced, a flood of joy descended on the colleges of the capital.
The premises of these educational institutions became famous from the morning. After the results were announced, the parents and students were overwhelmed with emotion.
The students formed a circle of joy by embracing each other. GPA-5 students, parents and teachers shared their joy by playing music, making noise, holding hands, dancing and singing.
