Documents required along with the application form

  • Two recent photographs. Photographs must be taken on a white background, black glasses or hats cannot be placed on the eyes and the entire face must be in the photograph.
  • A passport with at least six months validity must be submitted after the end of travel.
  • Clear photocopy of data pages of passport should be attached.

Visas can be obtained from diplomatic missions

Required information

  • Visa applications should be submitted four to six weeks before the scheduled date of travel.
  • Usually the Schengen visa is issued within 7 working days. However, it may take up to 4 weeks if document verification is required.
  • After the visa is issued, you should check how the visa has been issued at the time of collecting the passport. If there is any problem, it should be reported to the visa counter immediately.
