Here is your Government Holidays 2023 Bangladesh full list. The government has published the list of holidays for 2023 after the approval of the cabinet. There will be 22 days of public holidays in 2023 as per general and executive orders. Eight of these days fall on Friday and Saturday.

The Ministry of Public Administration released the list on Tuesday. Earlier, the Cabinet meeting approved the list of holidays for 2023.

Government Holidays 2022 Bangladesh

The cabinet on Thursday (28 October 2021) approved the list of public holidays for 2022. The cabinet meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

The Prime Minister took part in the virtual meeting. Later, Cabinet Secretary Khandaker Anwarul Islam announced the decision at a press conference at the Secretariat.

The cabinet secretary said there would be a 14-day general holiday on the occasion of National Day and Religious Day among the total holidays next year.

This holiday again falls on two days Friday and one day Saturday, which is a weekly holiday. And on the occasion of different days including Bengali New Year, there will be eight days holiday in the executive order.

There is also a three-day weekly holiday on Friday and Saturday. Apart from this, no more than three days leave can be taken on the occasion of religious festivals.

Employees of various small ethnic groups working in and around the Chittagong Hill Tracts have been given two days optional leave to celebrate the main social festival.

Here is your Government Holidays 2022 Bangladesh.  It said the government had decided that the holiday would be observed in 2022 in all government and semi-government offices and statutory, autonomous and semi-autonomous bodies.
