A company based in Florida has announced the creation of the world’s first and largest floating city. The 25-storey city has been named ‘Freedom Ship’. The plan is to build a mini city in the shape of a giant ship.

An ideal city has everything one needs. From playgrounds, hospitals, schools, police stations, airports to restaurants. And for those who live in the city, it is home. The mini-city is estimated to be four times the size of Britain’s Queen Mary Two.

40 thousand residents will live permanently in this floating city. The 25-storey huge floating city has been estimated to cost 1 billion dollars. It will be a ship-like vessel weighing 2.7 million tons. That’s why this floating city will not stay in one place in the sea.
