AB de Villiers is returning to international cricket this 2021

South African cricketer AB de Villiers is set to return to international cricket. South Africa are set to bring him back to the squad with the upcoming T20 World Cup in mind in October-November.

AB could be included in the squad for the five-match T20I series against the West Indies from June 2.

Chris Morris and Imran Tahir can return to the team.

After retiring from international cricket, ABD has participated in franchise leagues in different countries. He is playing IPL regularly.

He was in great rhythm even before it was postponed again. Discussions have been held with Mark Boucher during the IPL about his return to the national team.

That’s when AB de Villiers said he would decide when the tournament was over.

This time, South African cricket director and former captain Graeme Smith opened his mouth about returning to the team.

The Caribbean Cricket Podcast tweeted, “South Africa will play two Tests and five Twenty20s against the West Indies in June,” said Graeme Smith, director of Cricket South Africa.

He added that AB, Imran Tahir and Chris Morris could be seen playing in the series.

AB left international cricket in 2018 at the age of 34.
