94th OSCARS Short Lists Selected Movies 2022

The most prestigious organization in world cinema is the Academy Awards (Oscars). The 94th Oscars are set to take place on March 26 next year. Oscar authorities announced the shortlist of 10 branches of the competition on 22 december 2021.

Among them is the International Feature Film, a category of interest to world film lovers. The Oscar authorities invited a movie from every country in the world to be nominated in this category. This year, movies from 93 countries were submitted. From there, a short list of 15 movies has been shortlisted through voting.

Since 1954, Oscar organizers have collected a movie from every country in the world. Films from 15 countries including Finland, Iran, Japan and Mexico have been included in the International Feature Film category at this prestigious event.

In these movies, various challenges of the contemporary world including the basic problems of the world have come up humanely.

Out of the 15 shortlisted films, 5 will be shortlisted for the Oscars. The list of the top five nominated movies will be released on 8 February.

A short list of the best movies, best actors and other genres will be published in phases. 94th OSCARS Short Lists

In the first phase, the Oscar authorities have announced a short list of 10 disciplines including Oscar Original Song, Documentary Feature, Makeup and Hairstyle, Sound, Visual Effects.

The film ‘Rehana Maryam Noor’, which was sent to the Oscars from Bangladesh this year, could not get a place in the short list.
